Arab Clothing:
-Arab's typically wear clothing that cover most of their body because they use it as protection from the heat, dust and blazing sunshine.  Yet, they still are able to pull off wearing the traditional clothing.
-The garments are loose fitting and cover most of the body, they are normally made out of cotton, linen and wool, but a nice outfit is made out of silk.
-baldachin- the richly decorated fabric with a wrap of gold thread and a weft of silk.
-damask- the source of richly patterned silk fabric.
- Most garment's are based off of traditional styles.
-Chemise or Tunic are very common loose fitting, long-sleeved garments for both men and woman that are considered casual.
-Jellaba- Wide, long sleeves and a long skirt that may be slit up the side and some styles are open in the front like a coat.  That is also for both sexes.
- Some outerwear for both sexes include the haik is an oblong peice of material (generally stripped) that Arabs use to wrap around their bodies or heads for day or night wear.  This is similar to the burnous which is a hooded garment also used for warmth day and night.
