1. How has music developed from the 1700's in America to music today.
2. What were some huge factors that affected the path of music.
3. Who were some influential people/groups that affected the path of music.

Classical music dominated the 1700's to 1800's. The classical music took turns throughout the time but I don't know exactly what those were. In the early 1900's, swing and jazz were taking over. The african influence of improvation and traditional music created jazz. In the 50's Rock and roll appeared and commpelled the younger generation of the time. A couple of groups such as the Beatles and The Rolling Stones turned the whole music genre to rock. Around the 1980's Rap and Pop music appeared. It took the easy to remember patterns of rock and focused on the voice of the song.
